    USACE completes maintenance complex for Army Field Support Battalion at Fort Campbell

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers delivered a 117,034 square-foot maintenance complex to the Army Field Support Battalion during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, March 15, 2023. The project, with a programmed amount of $44.7 million, consisted of the construction of four general purpose maintenance facilities that includes an allied shop building, engine auto shop, production control building and a paint booth building. The project also included 42,110 square feet of concrete parking.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers broke ground on a $30.5 million tactical equipment maintenance facility, June 29, 2022, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The 36,000 square-foot project will be the first new modern-design field-level vehicle maintenance shop built at Fort Campbell since 2014.

    Louisville District constructing one-of-a-kind multi-use helicopter training facility at Fort Campbell, Kentucky

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is building a $5 million Multi-use Helicopter Training facility to replace the current Special Helicopter Operations Complex training facility at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. This one-of-a-kind facility consists of a deck landing trainer designed to replicate a Destroyer Designated Guided DDG-103 class ship, nicknamed the “U.S.S. Truxton” and will include an attached six-story structure. The landing pad will incorporate the same lighting with a similar aircraft storage configuration as on board the DDG ship.

    Louisville District completes battle course at Fort Campbell

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District completed construction of a $6.3 million Automated Infantry Platoon Battle Course with Range Operations Control Area at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, which will allow platoons to conduct individual and collective maneuvers to defeat a variety of threats.

    The Fort Campbell Fire Department now has a new place to prepare for emergencies after the
