Engineering Division staff provides engineering designs, studies, and drawings for a vast array of military, civil works, and support for others whether routine or complex, throughout the far-reaching mission boundaries of the Louisville District, including:

• Contracting for engineering and professional services to supplement in-house staff
• Providing GIS, surveying, and mapping services
• Producing all engineering/construction cost estimates
• Providing engineering services/support during construction, and for operational projects
• Providing advice to the public and other governmental agencies in all engineering matters
• Performing inspections of structures, including and analyzing structures for dam safety
• Conducting value engineering/value management studies
• Providing stream flow analysis and water reservoir regulation and water quality management
