USACE announces public review period for Rough River Lake Master Plan

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has updated its 1961 Master Plan for Rough River Lake located in Falls of Rough, Kentucky.

A Master Plan is the document that conceptually establishes and guides the orderly development, administration, maintenance, preservation, enhancement, and management of all natural, cultural, and recreational resources of a Corps water resource project.

The final draft Master Plan and Environmental Assessment for Rough River Lake is available for public review at: https://www.lrl.usace.army.mil/Missions/Civil-Works/Recreation/Lake-Master-Plan-Updates/Rough-River-Lake-Master-Plan-Update/.

Comments and questions can be submitted by email to rough.masterplan@usace.army.mil. The public comment period will be open until Aug. 2, 2023.
