USACE hosting public meeting for Taylorsville Lake Master Plan Review

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has updated its 1978 Master Plan for Taylorsville Lake located in Spencer, Nelson and Anderson counties of Kentucky.

A Master Plan is the document that conceptually establishes and guides the orderly development, administration, maintenance, preservation, enhancement, and management of all natural, cultural, and recreational resources of a Corps water resource project.

The final draft Master Plan and Environmental Assessment for Taylorsville Lake is available for public review at: https://go.usa.gov/xhDxn.  

USACE Louisville District will be hosting a public meeting to review the final draft of the Taylorsville Lake Master Plan and Environmental Assessment, which will provide the public an opportunity to discuss and ask questions related to the documents. The public comment period will be open until Oct. 2, 2022.

The public is invited to join USACE for a public meeting to provide input on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, at the Taylorsville Lake USACE Office located at 2825 Overlook Road, Taylorsville, KY 40071, beginning at 6:00 p.m. (EDT).

For those unable to attend in-person, the public meeting will also be held virtually simultaneously. To participate in the virtual public meeting log in at: https://usace1.webex.com/meet/glenn.b.myrick and enter your name and email address. For the presentation’s audio portion, call 1-844-800-2712 Access code: 199 639 4239.

Instructions for web access and phone-in are also available at: https://go.usa.gov/xMaNu.
