USACE hosting quarterly virtual public meeting for Section 202 Johnson County Flood Risk Management Project update

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District is hosting a virtual informational public meeting for the Section 202 Johnson County Flood Risk Management Project, located in Paintsville, Kentucky, on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, at 6 p.m. (EST).

The Louisville District is working in close coordination with Johnson County and City of Paintsville officials to provide flood risk management measures to the city and county. This is the second quarterly project update that is being provided. Louisville District staff will be available to answer any questions about the project following the presentation.

To participate in the virtual public meeting, log in at: https://usace1.webex.com/meet/michael.moore17 and enter your name and email address. For the presentation’s audio portion, call 1-844-800-2712, access code: 199 250 1980.

The public meeting will also be available for viewing in person on a large screen at the Johnson County Courthouse, located at 908 3rd St., Paintsville, Ky.
