Olmsted Locks and Dam conducts a concrete placement on its eighth Nav Pass shell. While crews move the blue ‘tubes’ to ensure concrete is filled in all the holes, other workers move and smooth the concrete to make sure it is at the proper height and level before the material hardens. The placement is the second of five lift placements. NP-8 is scheduled to be set October 18.
