The Olmsted project delivery team members mark the start of another beautiful day by successfully setting Paving Block No. 4, the first element of the navigable pass portion of the Olmsted Dam on July 31. Now begins the final planned construction sequence of the dam. In this final phase, 13 shells and the 11 additional paving blocks will be placed. This is a necessary procedure to complete the Olmsted Dam. The final two shells of the tainter gate portion of the dam were successfully set earlier this low water season.
