Corps of Engineers sets dam shell ahead of schedule on Ohio River

The catamaran barge (background) is used to set shells that comprise the dam. The catamaran barge lifts and carries the large precast concrete shells with attached lifting frames on the Ohio River to the shell’s final set-down location.
