Archie Ball (left) uses his "come-along" to pull concrete into place for the screed to smooth while Josh Tyler vibrates concrete to consolidate it after it has been placed on Sill Shell 6 in the casting yard. SS6 is the last of the flat shells for the tainter gate section of the dam being built across the Ohio River as part of the Olmsted Locks and Dam 17 miles upstream from the confluence of the Mississippi.
