FINDING OF SUITABILITY TO TRANSFER
PARCEL E OF THE CHARLES MELVIN PRICE SUPPORT CENTER
GRANITE CITY, IL

Interested parties are hereby notified the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, has completed, on behalf of the U.S. Army Environmental Division, Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Operations Branch, a Finding of Suitability to Transfer (FOST) of approximately 4.43 acres known as Parcel E of the Charles Melvin Price Support Center (CMPSC) in Granite City, IL.

The FOST documents the environmental suitability of the site for transfer and sale (excessing and disposal), consistent with the provisions of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) Section 120(h) and Department of Defense policy. The FOST includes the Access Provisions, and other Deed Provisions, and the Environmental Protection Provisions (EPPs) necessary to protect human health or the environment after such transfer.

The comment period will begin March 17, 2023, and end on March 31, 2023.
