Emergency Operations conducts tree removal during the Winter Storm, Ky. in 2009
An Army Corps of Engineers quality control inspector ensures knocked down trees are removed safely from a rural road in western Kentucky in 2009. Corps civilians deployed to Kentucky from all over the country to aid in the massive clean up. Power was lost for extended periods of time; the Corps provided generators to hundreds of hospitals, schools and other critical service providers.
