Edward Roush Lake web site. The project area lies in Huntington and Wells counties, Indiana. The lake is located 3 miles southeast of Huntington, Ind., 20 miles southwest of Fort Wayne, and is about a 100-mile drive from Indianapolis (directions). J. Edward Roush Lake exists as a cooperative management effort between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. The lake has 900 acres of water in the summer for fishing, boating, swimming and other water-related activities. The project also includes more than 7,600 acres of land, which offers numerous recreational opportunities year round. The menu on the right leads to specific recreation and other lake information.
