ROUGH RIVER LAKE, KY — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host two public meetings to update the public on the Rough River Lake Encroachment Resolution Plan (Plan).  Meetings will occur on Monday, Sept. 16 and Saturday, Sept. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. (CDT) at the Rough River Lake State Resort Park in the Breckinridge and Grayson conference rooms. Landowners and interested parties are invited to attend either meeting.

The America’s Water Infrastructure Act of 2018 and the June 2019 Assistant Secretary of the Army (Civil Works) guidance memo provided further guidance allowing the Corps to proceed with the Plan.

Rough River Lake Project Manager, Diane Stratton, will discuss changes to implementation of the Plan, impacts these changes may have on landowners, and steps landowners still must take to resolve their encroachment on flowage easement.

The Corps of Engineers will continue to work with landowners as we move through this process. If you have any questions, contact the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rough River Lake Project Office at (270) 257-2061.
