Public workshop being held for Brookville Lake Master Plan Update

LOUISVILLE, KY. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is starting the process of updating its 1979 Master Plan for Brookville Lake located in Brookville, Indiana.

A Master Plan is the document that conceptually establishes and guides the orderly development, administration, maintenance, preservation, enhancement, and management of all natural, cultural, and recreational resources of a Corps water resource project.

Public input is critical in the Master Plan update process. The public is invited to open house workshops to provide input on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Brookville Branch of the Franklin County Public Library located at 919 Main Street, Brookville, IN 47012.
